Thick, toxic smoke covers Logan area after suspicious fire

Firefighters are battling a blaze that has created thick, toxic smoke across the Park Ridge region, south of Brisbane, as police investigate a suspicious shed fire.
Emergency services were called about 11.30pm on Thursday night to a property on Koplick Road, where a shed containing rubber tyres was well alight.

Residents in the area, particularly those living in Beaumont Estate, have been advised to stay indoors and close their windows while air quality levels are monitored.
