‘Queen of the Nurburgring’: Motorsport rocked as Top Gear star dies, aged 51 – Fox Sports
Groundbreaking racing driver Sabine Schmitz, the only woman ever to win the Nurburgring 24 Hours has died aged 51.

Widely known as the Queen of the Nurburgring, one of the most dangerous tracks in the world, Schmitz went on to become a presenter of car show Top Gear before she revealed she had been diagnosed with cancer in 2017.
The Nurburgring has lost its most famous female racing driver, the German circuit said in a statement.
