Thurston links with old Cowboys firm to plot another Maroons Origin dynasty – Fox Sports
Rugby league legend Johnathan Thurston is set to team up with former Cowboys coach Paul Green to emulate their club success at Origin level.
The QRL has announced Thurston will join Queensland Maroons as an assistant coach for the 2021 State of Origin series.
Green has also retained the services of experienced mentor and another former Cowboys head coach Neil Henry, who assisted Wayne Bennett during the Maroons 2-1 series victory over NSW last year.
