Gladys Berejiklian reveals ‘secret’ review into NSW Parliament’s sexual assault complaints process

NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian has revealed a review is underway into how allegations of bullying, harassment and sexual assault involving ministerial staff are handled.

- The Premier said she wanted to “stress test” every process the government had
- A report is expected to be handed to the Premier within a month

She has told Parliament she ordered the review weeks ago after former Liberal staffer Brittany Higgins made an allegation of rape against another staffer at Parliament House in Canberra.
Ms Higgins alleged she was raped by a colleague inside Defence Minister Linda Reynolds’s office in 2019.
