In a battle between two of the NBAs best defences on Wednesday (AEDT), it was the Philadelphia 76ers who proved the stingiest.
Without Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons and co. stepped up on both ends to win 99-96 and hand the New York Knicks their second defeat in the space of two days.
Tom Thibodeaus vastly improved Knicks took a nine-point lead into the final period, but could only muster 14 points in the fourth as Philadelphia locked in defensively.
