Its easy to say that player had a great game, but what does a great game actually mean in modern footy?
In the NBA, they have the triple-double, when a player reaches double-digits in three categories – points, rebounds and assists being the most common, but steals and blocks can be included too. Its perfect shorthand to explain when someone dominated every aspect of a game.
