A Sunshine Coast woman who lost her sight three decades ago is planning to ride her beloved horse more than 5000 kilometres along the National Trail from Far North Queensland to Victoria.

Along the way, Rowena Dowling will be raising funds for three organisations that are close to her heart – Guide Dogs Queensland, Vision Australia and Diabetes Australia.
