Porting an operating system as complex as Linux to a system-on-a-chip as closed as the Apple Silicon wasnt going to be a walk in the park. The projects first detailed progress report gives a glimpse of Apples unique boot process, and the challenges it presents to getting another operating system to run on the hardware.
