The Philadelphia 76ers have made an emphatic statement on their chances without Joel Embiid after a dominant 134-99 win over the San Antonio Spurs.
Embiid, who is a leading candidate for the MVP award, injured his knee in Philadelphias last-start win against the Washington Wizards and is expected to miss two weeks.
Averaging 29.9 points, 11.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game, he left a considerable hole for the Sixers to fill.
