The Sharks overcame the sin-binning of Jesse Ramien and a Dragons fightback to emerge 32-18 winners on the back of Chad Townsend’s kicking game in Sunday’s local derby at Kogarah.
Cronulla drew equal with the Dragons for the number of wins between the two clubs with Townsend having a hand in two of their five tries and maintaining pressure on the Dragons with repeated grubbers into their in-goal or high kicks that forced errors or earned the Sharks repeat sets.
