Queensland experiences greatest level of financial impact after COVID-19: survey

Queenslanders have been found to have experienced a greater level of financial impact from COVID-19 compared with those in other states, including a higher loss of employment and a greater number withdrawing superannuation, a new survey reveals.
The Queensland Council of Social Services released its COVID-19 Impacts on Queenslanders survey results and found six groups, including women, young adults, renters, casual and part-time employees, the self-employed and those looking for work, bore the burden of the economic slowdown.
