Australian Cameron Smith hit the second-best round of the third day so far to charge up the leaderboard at the Players Championship.
But Bryson DeChambeau is on fire in a bogey-free round so far to take the sole lead, one shot ahead of the field in a packed leaderboard.
Smith had managed just even par through two rounds – only just making the cut thanks to a birdie on the final hole of his second round, before a seven-under 65 third round launched him into contention for the US 2.7 million dollar winners prize at TPC Sawgrass.
