‘Lucky it wasn’t 50-0’: Payten puts Cowboys on blast after shocker – Fox Sports
Under-fire Cowboys coach Todd Payten blasted his side after a 24-0 loss to last year’s grand finalist Penrith in the opening round on Saturday night.

Payten was filthy his team made 18 errors and failed to score a try.
Tough to watch. We didnt put ourselves in the game at any stage, Payten said.
I thought we showed some glimpses of where we competed hard defensively, particularly in that first half. They had 100 more players with the ball and that was our own fault.
Round 1
Where and how were making errors at the moment is pretty concerning. Im not sure if we have to do any tackling practice this week because we did plenty of it tonight.
