Queenslands LNP has put out the call for entrepreneurs to come up with an environmentally friendly straw that is actually enjoyable to drink out of after plastic straws were outlawed.
Laws passed in Queensland this week will ban plastic straws, stirrers, cutlery and plates as well as polystyrene foam food containers and cups from September 1.
