Coronavirus Queensland: Brisbane hospitals, aged care placed in lockdown after Princess Alexandra Hospital Brisbane COVID-19 case
The Queensland government has placed all hospitals, aged care facilities and disability centres in the Greater Brisbane area in lockdown after a doctor tested positive for COVID-19.
A positive COVID case was detected in Brisbane’s community on Friday, ending the state’s 59-day streak without a local infection.
Late on Friday night, health authorities revealed that a female doctor at the Princess Alexandra Hospital had contracted the virus.
