Glenn and Lyn Trotter looked for seven months before jumping on what agents say are 1970s prices in one of Brisbane’s best kept secrets – its most affordable suburb.
He and wife Lyn bought what real estate agent Denise Taylor described as “a pretty renovated Queenslander” for $235,000 two days after seeing it – in a price range where they could be mortgage-free.
