Brisbane hospital locked down after doctor tests positive for COVID-19

The Princess Alexandra Hospital has been placed into lockdown after a positive COVID-19 case was detected on Friday.
Key points:
- The doctor came into contact with COVID patients on Wednesday
- They were active in the community on the Thursday
- A list of exposure sites is expected to be released on Saturday morning
The person, a staff member at the hospital in Brisbane’s south, had contact with COVID-19-positive patients in the early hours of Wednesday, March 10.
The person was infectious whilst in the community the following day and contact tracing is underway to identify and contact all patients, staff and families this person interacted with.
It is likely public exposure sites will be identified and communicated on Saturday morning.
