Queensland woman gives birth to healthy baby on her bathroom floor

A Queensland woman who gave birth on the floor of her bathroom has surprisingly labelled the experience “stress-free”.

Christina Van Ansem, from Sarina in central Queensland, was full-term pregnant with her second child when her waters broke last Thursday.

“We went to hospital and spent a good couple of hours there but they did send us home,” she said.

“We were only home for an hour and I had to ring Triple Zero saying I wasn’t going to make it.”
