But not many people know the highest tsunami wave ever accurately measuredat 524-metersoccurred in Alaska.
It happened 63 years ago during a tsunamian unusual wave that is usually generated by either a large undersea earthquake; volcanic eruptions; landslides that fall into the sea or that occur underwater; and asteroids.
