EA Investigates Reports of Employee Selling Rare FIFA 21 Ultimate Team Cards – PCMag AU
The cards should only be available through loot box purchases, but are apparently being sold for over $1,000.

An as yet unknown EA employee has been accused of selling extremely rare FIFA 21 Ultimate Team cards for thousands of dollars. The so-called “EAGate” scandal is currently under investigation by the publisher.
EA not only makes a lot of money selling copies of FIFA 21, but it continues to generate additional revenue from sales of Ultimate Teams loot boxes. These boxes contains cards, some of which are for extremely rare and highly-desirable Icon and Team of the Year players. Some gamers…
