Fake Uber driver’s victim speaks after Brisbane judge hands down three-year jail sentence

A young Brisbane woman who was sexually assaulted by a man pretending to be an Uber driver has vowed to move on from the ordeal.
Sampath Sandaruwan Samaranayake, 44, will spend at least 18 months in jail after being found guilty of 18 offences against five women.
He touched, kissed and exposed himself to the women, some of whom were trapped in the car after he had picked them up from nightclub district Fortitude Valley after claiming to be an Uber driver.
