Officials cast doubt over Aussie vaccine rollout

Health Department Secretary Professor Brendan Murphy has confirmed that although all first doses would be delivered by October, the 12-week wait between AstraZeneca jabs may delay full vaccination. “There may be some at the end of October that might have only had one (dose),” he told a parliamentary COVID committee hearing on Thursday.The federal government’s original goal of vaccinating all Australians by the end of October was modelled on the initial assumption the gap between AstraZeneca jabs…
