The four AFL bolters set for a giant leap in 2021… and the clear favourite to slide
St Kilda champion Leigh Montagna has nominated four clubs as the most likely to continue a stunning 10-year AFL trend and rise from cellar dwellers to premiership contenders within 12 months.
As Montagna pointed out on Fox Footys AFL 360 on Wednesday night, 10 teams have made the jump from outside the eight into the top four within a year over the past 10 seasons a stat that would give all bottom-10 teams from last year hope for 2021, according to Montagna.
