COVID restrictions in Queensland eased further to allow bigger parties, gatherings
Queenslanders will be able to have house parties of 100 people and outdoor gatherings of 500 under a further easing of COVID-19 restrictions.
The measures will come into effect at 1am on Saturday.
Previously, the number of guests allowed in homes was capped at 50, while outdoor gatherings in the Sunshine State were capped at 100.
A limit of one person per two square metres at beachfront campsites will also be abolished.
