Outbreaks of Gastro in Greater Geelong have doubled compared to the same time last year.
21outbreaks have been reported in local child care facilities so far this year along with 1 in an aged care facility.
There has been 3 outbreaks in child care centres recorded on the Surf Coast.
The local outbreaks are among 246 recorded in Victoria in 2021, more than four times higher than the five-year average.
