Doctor: Women trying to get pregnant should get COVID-19 vaccine
A Miami Valley physician is giving women looking to get pregnant the go-ahead to get the Covid vaccine.
Dr. David McKenna, a maternal fetal medicine specialist at Miami Valley Hospital said as soon as women are eligible, they should get the shot.
Theres no reason to expect that this type of vaccine would affect your fertility at all, Dr. McKenna said.
He is also recommending women who are already pregnant get vaccinated.
