Western Areas will undertake a $100 million equity raising to fund the development of its Odysseus underground mine, advance its exploration portfolio and advance organic growth projects.
The capital raising will comprise a fully underwritten placement to raise $85 million and a non-underwritten share purchase plan to raise up to $15 million.
The placement has been underwritten at a floor price of $2.15 a share, an 8.1 per cent discount to its last closing price of $2.34.
