Tragic end to search for missing toddler on rural Queensland property in Tara

A desperate search has ended in tragedy after emergency services located the body of a missing toddler on a rural property.

Queensland Police led the search after a two-year-old was reported missing on the 1500 hectare Tara, Western Downs property at about 3.30pm on Monday afternoon.

The extensive search included the assistance of the QPS Dog Squad, Polair, Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, State Emergency Services, and local members of the public.
