Rangers fans defy lockdown laws to celebrate first title in decade – Sydney Morning Herald
Thousands of the Scottish club’s supporters gathered at their home stadium of Ibrox and Glasgow’s George Square after ending Celtic’s nine-year title streak.

Waving flags emblazoned with Champions 55 and setting off flares, Rangers supporters defied Scotlands pandemic lockdown to gather in their thousands and celebrate the end of a decade-long title drought.
The Ibrox stadium they have been denied access to for a year was the destination for fans after fierce rivals Celtic drew 0-0 with Dundee United on Sunday. That result sealed the title for Rangers, and ended Celtics nine-year Scottish Premiership streak.
