Apple is under investigation in the UK for anti-competitive behaviour – Game Debate
Apple is currently under investigation by the UK government over complaints that they are being unfair and anti-competitive on the App Store.
Apple has been under a lot of scrutiny over the years for how it handles the App Store, most notably now because of Epic Games fight against them after the Fortnite controversy. But now the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) have revealed that Apple is under investigation in the UK for anti-competitive behaviour.
The CMAs investigation will consider whether Apple has a dominant position in connection with the distribution of apps on Apple devices in the UKand, if so, whether Apple imposes unfair…
