West Coasts mascot caused a pre-derby stir, flying high – and a little too long – at Optus Stadium this afternoon.

Auzzie the Eagle has long been a pre-game fixture at West Coast games, with the Whiteman Park mascot usually completing a lap or two of the stadium before nestling on a giant football in the middle of the stadium alongside its handler.
But todays flight before the double derby fixture was different.
