DCE plans to play on at Manly beyond mega ‘lifetime contract’ – Fox Sports
Queensland skipper Daly Cherry-Evans signed a lifetime deal with the Sea Eagles six years ago, but he now feels he can play on beyond the monster contract.
Cherry-Evans infamous backflip on the Titans saw him sign an eight-year mega deal with Manly that became the most lucrative and longstanding contract in the game at the time.
However The Sydney Morning Herald revealed that the now 32-year-old has no intention of retiring when his current deal worth over $1 million a season expires at the end of the 2021.
