Tritton’s Furniture Store staff members boarding trucks in George Street, possibly heading off to a staff picnic in 1935. This photo reminds me of my junior footy days in the 1960s, when the whole team would pile on the back of Donny Jewel’s flat-bed truck to be driven to matches as far away as Ipswich. No child restraint laws in those days, but gee they were fun!
