Cairns Holiday Dollars: $200 travel vouchers for Queensland residents travelling to Cairns, Great Barrier Reef
The Queensland government plans to hand out $200 vouchers in a bid to boost its struggling tourism industry.
Tourism Tropical North Queensland announced on Sunday that 15,000 lucky Queenslanders are up for the vouchers.
The Cairns Holiday Dollars can be used for a “tourism experience” in far north Queensland, in the Cairns and Great Barrier Reef area.
The activity must occur between March 15 to June 25. The draw to receive a voucher starts from Monday and closes on March 11.
