Detective says police considered possibility ‘rogue shooters’ could be responsible for disappearance of Russell Hill and Carol Clay in Victorian High Country
The detective leading the investigation into the disappearance of two people in the Victorian High Country says police have considered whether the pair were harmed by “rogue shooters.”

Carol Clay and Russell Hill disappeared from the remote Wonnangatta Valley in March last year while camping, and have not been seen since.
Detective Inspector Andrew Stamper told ABC Statewide Drive that police had considered whether hunters or shooters in the area could be responsible.
