Group I-winning star dies at Warrnambool beach – Racenet

Dual Group I winner Scales Of Justice died on Thursday morning after suffering a suspected heart attack.
Trainer Lindsey Smith reported the seven-year-old collapsed after working on a beach at Warrnambool. The Warrnambool Racing Club later issued a statement confirming the incident.
“The horse was cantering in accordance with the approved guidelines of beach exercise when the incident occurred,” the WRC statement read.
