Johnson and Johnson loses pelvic mesh court appeal
The Federal Court has dismissed an appeal against a landmark judgment for Australian women with faulty vaginal mesh implants.
Drug company Johnson and Johnson appealed against a ruling that it had to pay three lead applicants in a class action of thousands of women $2.6 million in damages.
They have side effects from the implants, that include chronic pain and infection.
