Samsung and Mastercard Are Developing a Biometric Card – PCMag AU
The payment card will have a fingerprint scanner built-in as an extra layer of security.

Samsung and Mastercard have agreed to work together to improve the security of payment cards by introducing biometric authentication. The new card will be able to scan your fingerprint before allowing a payment to be taken.
Samsung System LSI Business will provide a chipset for the card which allows a fingerprint to be scanned and then verified as belogning to the owner. As well as adding an extra layer of security much stronger than a four-digit PIN, it also…
