Lakers star LeBron James remained in L.A. to receive treatment on his left ankle while the team headed to Sacramento for Wednesday’s game against the Kings.

LeBron James will miss a game for the first time this season when the Los Angeles Lakers play a road game against the Sacramento Kings on Wednesday in their final outing before the NBA All-Star break, the Lakers said.
James did not accompany the team on its flight to Sacramento after a 114-104 home loss to the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night, according to a team spokesperson.
