Fines now totalling over $130,000 have been issued to quarry operator Cordwell Resources for alleged breaches of the Quarry Management Plan. Council issued another round of fines this week, relating to truck movements from the Kin Kin quarry. Clare Stewart Noosa Mayor says hinterland residents are in a state of despair and becoming increasingly frustrated by the company’s behaviour.
