QBE woos another Brit for CEO spot, with hefty sign-on fee – The Australian Financial Review
Andrew Horton of Beazley replaces Patrick Regan, who had to resign last year.

Mr Horton would be paid a relocation allowance and his annual base salary would be $1.8 million at QBE, which operates across the globe. His maximum short-term bonus could top out at $4.05 million, while long-term bonuses could be worth $3.6 million annually.
But he has also been offered compensation to leave Beazley and forfeit compensation there. That includes QBE shelling out $500,000 in cash in February next year. Mr Horton is further eligible for conditional bonus share rights up until 2026…
