The Duchess of Sussex is alleged to have worn a pair of diamond earrings gifted to her by Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince who’s since been accused of ordering the murder of an American journalist.
The Times reports Meghan wore the earrings to a state dinner in Fiji during her royal tour of Australia and the Pacific in 2018 and allowed the public to believe they had been borrowed.
But Meghan’s lawyers have denied suggestions she misled anyone about the earrings’ provenance.
