Gupta’s Whyalla steelworks reverses losses – The Australian Financial Review
Unions are worried about the potential fallout of the strife at Greensill Capital on the Australian operations of GFG.
The Whyalla operations, which include open-cut iron ore mines in the Middleback Ranges about 60 kilometres from the steelworks, export some iron ore to customers in Asia but most of the 10 million tonnes of annual output is used in the steelworks operations.
