Twitter accounts of Bill Gates, Joe Biden involved in apparent hack seeking bitcoin – ABC News
The affected accounts, which also include Apple and Uber, sent out messages seeking bitcoin donations, but many of the tweets have been deleted.

A series of high-profile Twitter accounts have been hijacked, with some of the platform’s top voices including US presidential candidate Joe Biden, Kim Kardashian, Barack Obama, billionaire Elon Musk, and rapper Kanye West used to solicit digital currency.
While account compromises are not unusual, experts were surprised at the sheer scale and coordination of the apparent hack.
