Same owner, new chapter for Halse Lodge

Noosa landmark Halse Lodge will be retained by the Anglican Church as a new leaseholder eyes its tourist potential.
Bishop Jeremy Greaves said there had been immense interest in the property with Expressions of Interest for its future diverse, ranging from sale to lease.
“Our preferred option was to retain ownership of the property,“ he said.
Bishop Jeremy said the Diocese of the Anglican Church Southern Queensland has entered into negotiations with a Queensland-based company to lease the property.
During this time of due diligence the new lease holder is ensuring any applications are sound and the Diocese is making sure the heritage and environmental responsibilities are all fulfilled.
