Three-time Grand National winning trainer Gordon Elliott is banned from racing in Britain after a photo emerges of him sitting on a dead horse.

The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) has banned Irish trainer Gordon Elliott from racing in Britain pending an investigation in Ireland into a photograph of him sitting on a dead horse.
- Gordon Elliott has won the Grand National three times as a trainer, including two in a row with Tiger Roll
- Elliott said that he sat down on the deceased horse, which is unnamed, “without thinking”
- Elliott’s actions have been widely condemned by the horseracing industry
