Rider falls five metres down embankment after motorbikes and car crash
A man thrown five metres down a Gold Coast embankment after two motorcycles and a car collided on Tuesday has been rescued by emergency services.
The motorcycles collided with the car on Gold Coast Springbrook Road just after 9am, causing one of the riders, a 30-year-old man, to be thrown down the embankment.
QAS acting operations supervisor Jay Nevins said the man was found five metres down an embankment with serious injuries, where he was taken to safety by fire and rescue crews.
