ABF officers among the first to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Australia.
ABF officers Alysha and Jon were proudly in the first group of Australians to receive the COVID-19 vaccine alongside the Prime Minister Scott Morrison on Sunday 21 February. Twenty people were in the first priority group to receive the Pfizer jab at Sydney’s Castle Hill Medical Centre.
‘For me it’s something I really wanted to do to help protect myself, as a frontline worker.’ Alysha said.
The vaccine priority rollout includes frontline ABF officers at the border, like Alysha and Jon, and staff and their family members going overseas on a posting or deployment.
