Earth, as it is seen from space, takes centre stage in footage filmed during two astronauts’ seven-hour mission outside the International Space Station.

Footage from NASA showing astronauts spacewalking during a seven-hour mission over the weekend has been released.
- The two astronauts were installing frames for new solar panels
- The new solar panels are expected to increase the electrical capability of the International Space Station by up to 30 per cent
