More than 500 modern slavery statements have now been published under Australia’s landmark Modern Slavery Act 2018. These statements provide an unprecedented look into the global supply chains and operations of
more than 1000 entities from over 21 countries. Head to the Government’s Online Register of Modern Slavery Statements to check them out – https://modernslaveryregister.gov.au/. If you are an Australian business earning more than AUD$100 million and operate on the Australian Financial Year, you are required to submit your statement before 31 March 2021. We recommend you read the guidance and create a profile before you finalise your statements.
